Tallet is Tallet, Ruiz homers, Roenicke unclogging the bullpen situation a little

You have to wonder which Tallet is going to show up for the few start he's going to get at the beginning of the season. One that might have some good outings and screw up somebody else's development but pay off in a late season trade? Or the one that's going to prove that he needs to be pulled out of the rotation quickly so he can go to the bullpen and maybe prove himself to be late season trade bait.

Marcum has been announced as the opening day starter. I can't believe all the "leadership" crap and other stuff he talks about in this article by Bastian. Does anybody really believe this stuff? Does anybody even remember who started the 1st game of the season after the 10th game of the season? I was going to write a full post about this but even this short paragraph is more than the subject deserves.

Big day tomorrow for Morrow, he's supposed to throw in a bullpen session or something so we'll find out for sure if his arm is still attached.
